Subject: New H2 flag for Sept . 2007 for ISCT10 problem based on Nelson's studies

Hi
Keith,
As you saw from Nelson's email to the glitch group last week,
the Carleton group have done more detailed veto
tuning studies and found that ISCT10 glitches has very good efficiency
vs H2 K-W DARM-ERR events in Sept 2007 (which is a known problem)
I had proposed a preliminary DQ flag for this ISCT10_TABLE_GLITCH which
covers the most severe glitches, but this did not catch all the glitches. I
think the studies done by Nelson and his students have caught almost all the
ISCT10 glitches including the low amplitude ones. I have sorted and made a
combined list of all these
ISCT10 glitches in Sept. 2007 in one file (isct10.txt, which is attached)

My proposal is that +/- 2 seconds around the GPS times in the file be
flagged. (although many of these are close to each other).
Also I think it makes sense to give this a separate name
(maybe ISCT10_TABLE_GLITCH_MILD to keep it separate from
ISCT10_TABLE_GLITCH).

I have also cced Nelson et al, so in case of any questions , or if he would
like to chime in, to correct anything I said incorrectly.
Thanks
Shantanu
