From gonzalez@lsu.edu Mon Jun 25 17:01:13 2007 Date: Mon, 25 Jun 2007 16:01:11 -0500 From: Gabriela Gonzalez To: Keith Riles Cc: LSCcalibration Subject: L1 calibration DQ flag Hello Keith, We want to propose a new DQ flag for L1, for the segments L1-969 to L1-977, or GPS 824497827-824572900. At this time, the LSC digital filters used in L1-SUS_ETMX is not the same as the ones we have in the model used for V3 calibration, so the calibration has larger errors at this time. We suggest a "BAD_NOTCH_CALIBRATION" name for the flag. The differences are only significant near the drumhead notch at 7kHz, so it should not affect most analyses. However, we want to create this flag so that we have all the information we need in case a candidate appears at this time. (There were sensing problems in the analog chain for most of this time, with a BAD_SENSING flag). These flags were recommended by the calibration review committee, there are more details in http://touro.ligo-la.caltech.edu/~irish/Work/Calibration/S5V3Review/ ActionItems.html We will probably follow with some other time(s) to flag for at least H1 and maybe H1. Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks!
