From sung@phys.lsu.edu Thu Apr 14 18:24:47 2005 Date: Thu, 14 Apr 2005 17:24:42 -0500 From: Myungkee Sung To: Keith Riles Cc: Gabriela Gonzalez Subject: Bad Calibration DQ Dear Keith, Attached below are the lists of bad calibrations for L1 and H1. I could not get the reasonable list for H2, whose alpha*beta values are fluctuating very close to the physical boundary. I will try it again when the new calibration model is out for H1 and H2. Each column of the lists is; segment#, starting gps time, ending gps time, duration, tag id where tag id = 0 ; bad calibration, 1 ; 1s drop-off in EXC channel Detail explanation on the lists can be found in http://ligo.phys.lsu.edu/sung/Factors/S4/BadCallibDQ.html The most from the lists are due to the EXC 1s drop-off, while there are a few - 8 for L1, 9 for H1 - from shorter glitches which calibration could not handle. The lists are compared with BNS triggers as shown at the bottom of the same web page. The bad calibration - not EXC drop off - found 3 triggers ( two for L1 and one for H1), which were not tagged by other DQ flags. Please let me know if you have any question.
