LSC Filter Settings During the S2 Run Peter Shawhan May 14, 2003 This document lists the LSC filter states during S2. Most LSC filters were either always on or always off during S2 science-mode data, but there are a few which occasionally switched states for one or a few segments. Filter states are indicated by several bitmap channels; the channel names and bit numbers (where bit 0 is the LSB) are given below. Note that there are two bits per filter; apparently, one serves as a control and the other as a readback. No discrepancies were observed in these pairs during science-mode running. This list only reflects the on/off state of filters in the LSC system. It does not indicate the state of filters in other systems (e.g. SUS), or whether switches besides filters were enabled or disabled. (Here are some other things I noticed in the process of compiling the list: The L1 PRC_DAMP loop was usually enabled, but was disabled during segs 133, 272-282, 334-341, 344-346, 349, 435-447; the H2
