The mechanical sturecture of AMS is designed by Center of Space Science
and Application, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
It weights about 300kg and has very high precision . It can support
the whole detector which is about 2300kg and satisfy the
the severe request of the shuttle's launching and landing.
AMS is made up of several parts , these are permanent
magnet , scintillator , anti-coincidence counter
, silicone micro-trip
detector etc.
